According to the decision of the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA), the confirmed diagnosis required for German statutory health insurance may be made by specialists in Internal Medicine and Angiology, Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine or Dermatology, and by doctors with the additional qualification in Phlebology. Our lipoedema self-test gives you a first indication – and we will tell you who can make the diagnosis.

Liposuction for lipoedema is performed by specialised surgeons – at Lipo Doctors mainly specialists in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and in Visceral Surgery. Surgery takes place in Wertheim, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Waalre (NL) – operations covered by German statutory health insurance at NATIONALKLINIK Wertheim – and you can also have a consultation in Nuremberg.
