Since October 2025: statutory cover in Germany for all stages
Since October 2025, German statutory health insurance has covered the cost of lipoedema surgery in all stages (for patients insured in Germany). We carry out operations covered by statutory insurance at our NATIONALKLINIK Wertheim – preparation and aftercare remain at the location near you. You no longer need an individual application to your health insurer; complete documentation of your progress is still worthwhile.
The 3D body scan provides this at the touch of a button: your condition before surgery, the changes during conservative therapy and the results after the procedure – all documented objectively and available at any time.

The entire scan takes just 30 seconds and is completely straightforward.

Preparation
You come in close-fitting clothing or underwear. The measurement is taken barefoot so that your body balance can also be recorded.

You stand on the measuring platform for about 30 seconds. The sensors are completely contact-free and safe – you feel nothing.
